Privacy Policy

• Account info: name, email, phone, password hash.
• Property owners: property addresses, project details, photos, and timeline/budget you enter into the wizard.
• Contractors: business name, service area (ZIPs), license number, insurance details, trade coverage.
• Activity logs: which estimate requests you opened, when, from what IP. Used for security and audit.

• To match estimate requests to qualified contractors.
• To validate submissions and contractor credentials (admin review).
• To send transactional emails — sign-in, password reset, status changes on your requests or opportunities.
• We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

If you provide a mobile phone number, we use it solely to send transactional text messages about your account activity — specifically: a new opportunity is assigned, your estimate is accepted, your estimate is revised, or a request is cancelled. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Your mobile information (including phone number, consent, and SMS opt-in status) will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with any third party or affiliate for promotional or marketing purposes. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. Mobile information may only be shared with our messaging service provider (Telnyx) strictly to deliver these transactional messages on our behalf, and with carriers as required to route messages to your device. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are explicitly excluded from any other data-sharing described in this policy.

Consent. Providing a phone number during sign-up or in your account settings constitutes your consent to receive transactional SMS at that number. Consent is not a condition of using Trades on Demand — the phone field is optional for property owners. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency varies based on activity on your account.

Opt out. Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe from all further SMS, or remove your phone number from your account settings. Reply HELP for support information. You can also opt out of specific text message categories (e.g. estimate revisions only) from your account settings without removing your phone number entirely. Opting out of SMS does not affect email notifications or your ability to use the service.

• Property owners only see their own submissions and the bids that come back.
• Contractors only see opportunities they've been matched to. They cannot browse other contractors' bids.
• Admins see all submitted requests and contractor profiles in order to validate them. Admin actions are logged.

Data lives in a managed Postgres database with daily encrypted backups. Photos and documents are stored in object storage with authenticated access.

• Draft estimate requests can be deleted from your account at any time.
• Submitted requests, opportunities, and contracts are retained as part of the marketplace audit trail. Contact us to request deletion after a project is closed.
• You can update your account email and password from sign-in.

Trades on Demand is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
